How is simple interest calculated?
Calculated by the following formula.
[(Compound Interest Rate / 100 + 1) number of days / 365 - 1] x 36500 / number of days
Example:
13 December 2025 term bond
Today: 1 March 2025
Days to Maturity: 287 days
Compound Interest Rate: 75.12%
Simple Interest Rate = [(75.12 / 100 + 1)287 / 365 - 1] x 36500 / 287 = 70.40
